White Irish - Cocktail Recipe

Wondering how to make White Irish? Cocktail Builder will help!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz of Light Cream
  • 2 oz of Bailey's Irish Cream (alt: irish cream)
  • 2 oz of Irish whiskey (alt: whiskey)
  • Instructions

Fill chilled old-fashioned with ice. Pour Irish Cream directly over ice, allowing it to settle fully. Pour Irish Whikey (Jameson's or Bushmills) slowly down the inside of the glass, allowing it to settle fully. Top with very cold and vigorously shaken Light Cream, pouring it slowly down the inside of the glass. Serve, unagitated, with cocktail straw.

With a little patience, this drink's ingredients will float naturally and slowly seep into one another (shaking the cream thickens and aerates it, and surprisingly, Baileys is heavier than whiskey). The ambitious may omit ice and use a spoon to create defined layers.
