Tropical Morgan - Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp of coconut extract (alt: wormwood extract)
  • 1 cup of Captain Morgan spiced rum (alt: spiced rum)
  • 2 cup of scooked sugar (alt: vanilla sugar)
  • 1/4 cup of cooked honey (alt: honey)
  • Instructions

    This will yield aprox. 1 pint of smooth tropical warmth to your flask.

    Pour 1 cup of Captain Morgen's Spiced Rum in a large jar (quart sized)

    Put 2 cups of sugar in a pan with 2 cups of water. Heat on MED until
    water turns clear and stir all the while.

    Add 1/4 cup honey..allow the honey to foam and remove from heat and skim off the foam ( bee wax,pollen etc. )

    Repeat again the heat and foam skimming. Add then 1 small capful
    ( about 1/4 teaspoon ) coconut flavoring and stir.

    let the brew cool a bit...pour over the rum...stir...you now have

    [ Liquere ]...Tropical Morgan liquere to be exact ! Delicious !!!

    Serve on ice...slow sip...smooth and nice gentle warmth going down.
