Piscola - Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz of pisco brandy (alt: brandy)
  • Coca-Cola (alt: coke)
  • Instructions

    Pour pisco over ice cubes in a highball glass. Fill with coca-cola or other soft drink, stir, and serve.

    Serve in collins glass.

    Garnish with lime wedge .

  • Hi, I recently tried with lime bitters, and a bit of lime juice, and the result is really interesting. I knbow it's not really a piscola anymore with this result, maybe i could rename it the Vincecola hahaha.
  • The Chilean Piscola originally doesn't include Angostura bitters as it will reduce its characteristic freshness; just Pisco, Cola and Ice (although some enjoy it with a lemon wedge/juice). It is very popular in Chile and not so much in Peru because of different characteristics of the distillation of the spirits. This makes the taste of Chilean Pisco more subtle, blending better with the sweet taste of the Cola (In contrast, its taste can dilute in the sweetness and acidity of a Pisco Sour).
